Imunabi

Imunabi is the most balanced civilization in the game, in terms of attack and defense. Their troops wield magic and are extremely powerful, but their training takes a lot of time and is very expensive. The army relies on quality over quantity, so it consumes less food but requires more planning.

The Imunabi infantry (especially the Earthshaker) excels against other infantry troops, but their overall high stats make them decent against cavalry as well. The mounted troops can easily trample armies with low defensive ability, having the highest attack troop in the game (Phoenix Archmage).

This race can have a rough start because of troop scarcity, but a stable economy built on their robust infrastructure let Imunabi dominate the late game. When their armies become numerous they start packing serious punches.
